How do I register my business with ShowMeLocal.com?
To register your business, please go to
Business Registration and enter the required
information.
How much does it cost?
You don't have to pay anything to register your
business with ShowMeLocal.com.
I know that I can add coupons, specials, pictures
and more to my profile, how come I don't see those options available during
registration?
Once you have completed registration and activated your
account you will be able to add coupons, specials and more in the Business
Management area of ShowMeLocal.com.
Will my address be displayed on my business profile?
Yes. The Registered address of your business will be displayed on your profile.
I registered my business, what should I do next?
Once you have registered your business, you will need
to respond to the activation email we sent you in order to confirm your
account. Please follow the instructions in the email to do so. Once your
account is activated your business listing will appear on ShowMeLocal.com and
you will be able to manage your listing.
Why do I have to activate my account when I've
already completed the registration?
Due to security issues we have to make sure that you
are the owner of the registered email. The easiest way to do this is to have
you confirm your registration by following instructions in an email we send to
you. Without confirmation we cannot activate your account.
I did not receive a confirmation email, what
should I do?
Go to
Request Activation Form, enter your email address in
the box and click "Send Activation". We will issue a new activation email. If
you cannot locate the activation email from us, please check your spam/bulk
folder and mark our emails as "no spam". If you are still experiencing problems
please contact us at support@showmelocal.com
What happens when I activate my account?
Your business listing will become active and you will
be able to use the portion of the site that is restricted to registered users.
I have not registered my business with
ShowMeLocal.com but a listing for it exists, what should I do?
If your business is located in Brooklyn, NY it is very
possible that we have added your listing while creating the site. If your
business is not located in Brooklyn, NY then someone else added your business
to ShowMeLocal.com. Please contact us to clarify this issue. We will help you
claim or remove the listing as per your wish.
